Children's Worship
Prairie Edge Church has been offering a Children and Worship program now for many, many years and it is a wonderful opportunity for kids ages 3-3rd grade to both learn what worship is all about and also participate in an age-appropriate worship time. The kids begin worship with their families in the Worship Center and then, after the opening activities, are dismissed by the congregation to their specific worship areas. Parents then pick up their kids following the service in the Children’s Worship wing, just off the main Worship Center.
Sunday School & Catechism
Our sunday school and catechism programs are from 11am-12pm on Sundays during the school year.
We offer Sunday School for children starting in 4th grade all the way through 8th grade. Catechism is available for high school students. Our classes are broken up by elementary/middle school students.
Prairie Edge GEMS
GEMS stands for Girls Everywhere meeting the Savior. GEMS meet on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday’s from 6:30-8:00pm. Girls in 3rd-8th grade are welcome to come for a time of fun, fellowship and furthering their relationship with God. This year our discussions and activities will be based the theme of “Friended”. Our theme verse is John 15:12 “…Love each other in the same way I have loved you.”
Prairie Edge Cadets
Cadets meet on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday’s from 7:00-8:30pm during the school year. Boys in 3rd through 8th grade are welcome to join for a time of fun, fellowship and furthering their relationship with God. Cadets is where we help boys grow more Christ-like in all aspects of life. Our theme this year is “Dive into the Word” and our theme verse is Psalm 119:162 “'I rejoice in your word like one who discovers a great treasure.”
